Frame – 2-Hand Hold (Strong. No “Spaghetti Arms.”)
Leaders:
• R Palm on her L shoulder blade. Fingers slightly downward to lift. Elbows together.
• Tension (pull follower toward you).
• Imagine a “newly inflated balloon.” Not, “a 3-day old balloon.”
Followers:
• Elbows touch at your shoulder level.
• Tension (push them away from you). Deltoid engaged.
Balance Step with Ladies’ Turn – In 2-Hand Hold (second 6-count):
• Leaders: L foot, step forward while lifting L hand to signal her turn (1).
Guide the turn under the arch with gentle pressure from your R palm.
• Followers: R foot, step backward while turning slightly in a clockwise direction (1).
• Leaders: R foot, step forward – give them room to turn (2).
• Followers: L foot, step around to continue in clockwise direction (2).
• Leaders: L foot, step in place (3).
• Followers: R foot, step around to complete clockwise “in place” turn (3).
• Leaders: R foot, step back – away from the circle (4).
• Followers: L foot, step forward – away from circle (4).
• Leaders: L foot, step backward back together with R foot (5).
• Followers: R foot, step forward back together with L foot (5).
• Leaders: R foot, step in place (6).
• Followers: L foot, step in place (6).
