Frame – 2-Hand Hold (Strong. No “Spaghetti Arms.”)
Leaders:
• R Palm on her L shoulder blade. Fingers slightly downward to lift. Elbows together.
• Tension (pull follower toward you).
• Imagine a “newly inflated balloon.” Not, “a 3-day old balloon.”
Followers:
• Elbows touch at your shoulder level.
• Tension (push them away from you). Deltoid engaged.
Side-to-Side Balance Step – In 2-Hand Hold (second 6-count):
• Leaders: L foot, sideways step to the L side – about shoulder-width (1).
• Followers: R foot, sideways step to the R side – as far as the leader leads (1).
• Leaders: R foot, sideways step to the L side to meet L foot (2).
• Followers: L foot, sideways step to the R to meet R foot (2).
• Leaders: L foot, step in place (3).
• Followers: R foot, step in place (3).
• Leaders: R foot, sideways step to the R – about shoulder-width (4).
• Followers: L foot, sideways step to the L – as far as the leader leads (4).
• Leaders: L foot, sideways step to the R side to meet R foot (5).
